 High School League Info Minimize

The High School League is open to all players, boys and girls, in 9th through 12th grade. Individuals are placed according to the school they attend with remaining individual players being drafted to help the fairness of competition for the league.

PIHI strives to create teams that are school affiliated. In the event that a school is unable to fill its roster or a player registers and their school cannot field a team, individual players will be placed on teams to help balance the overall skill level of all teams in each division.

High School teams will consist of a minimum of eight skaters and one goalie and a maximum of twelve skaters and one goalie. Players will need to provide their own jerseys. Jerseys must be of the same color as the rest of the team.

Youth House League players wishing to play up in the High School League must submit a written request during the open registration period each season to both the Youth and High School League Commissioners. High School players wishing to play in the Adult League may do so based on: 1) having attained the age of 16, 2) being registered to play in the current High School League, and 3) obtaining the Adult League Commissioner’s approval.

High School players who are interested in coaching or assistant coaching a team in the Youth House League should contact the Youth Commissioner.
