Open tryouts for the Maverick Travel Program (MTP) were held on January 21, 22 and 24, 2008.  (The purpose of these tryouts is to fill open roster positions on existing teams and to create elite level Maverick teams. The (MTP) currently consists of teams in the U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16 divisions.

Tryouts were held at The Box Inline Hockey Arena located at 3933 Avion Park Court, Chantilly, VA and consisted of one on-rink session for each age division as scheduled below.

The pro-rated cost for those players who tryout in January and receive a roster position, will be $700 per player and $500 per goalie. This fee will include team practice sessions and player uniform (jerseys and pants).

2007-08 Maverick Travel Program

Potomac Inline Hockey (PIHI) is pleased to announce that the Maverick Travel Program (MTP) has a new look and new construct for the ‘07/’08 travel season. Most notably: 1) the MTP offers a modified single travel season, from October through July, with an additional tryout in Jan/Feb to field elite-level teams as well as fill open roster spots on existing teams, 2) at least 60 practice sessions, 3) professional training, 4) coach development, and 5) new state-of-the-art uniforms.
